Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and Animal Brawl (animalbrawl.com, “we”) when you use the site. By using Animal Brawl or creating an account, you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Who can use Animal Brawl

• You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms.
• One account per person. Accounts used to fake votes or support (sock puppets, vote rings) may be removed.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens on your account.

What you can post

You can post arguments, replies, sources, matchups and suggestions. Everything you post must follow the house rules:

• Hypothetical fights only. Never post or link to videos or images of real staged animal fights or animal cruelty.
• Argue about the animals, not the people. No harassment, threats, hate speech or sexual content.
• No spam, advertising, scams, malware or misleading links.
• Don't post anything you don't have the right to share, or other people's personal information.
• Don't try to break, overload or get around the site's security, limits or moderation, or scrape it at scale.

Your content

You own what you post. By posting it, you give Animal Brawl a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, show, copy, adapt (for example, to fit a share image) and distribute it on and to promote the site. This license ends when you delete the content, except where it has been shared by others or must be kept for legal or moderation reasons.

Moderation

We may remove content or limit, suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the house rules, at our discretion and without notice. You can report an argument with the Report button. If you think we got a decision wrong, email hello@animalbrawl.com.

Our content

The site's design, code, logo, animal stat pages and our own writing belong to Animal Brawl or are used with permission. Photos are credited where required. Facts we cite link to their sources, which belong to their owners. Please don't copy the site or its content in bulk.

Facts and fights

Matchups are hypothetical and for fun and learning. Votes show what people think, not what would happen. We work to keep animal facts accurate and sourced, but we don't guarantee them; check the linked sources for anything that matters.

Ads and links

The site shows ads and links to other websites. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

Animal Brawl is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise the site will always be available or error-free, and we may change or stop any part of it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Animal Brawl isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for content posted by other users. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.

Ending your account

You can stop using Animal Brawl at any time. To delete your account, email hello@animalbrawl.com from the address on your account. We may close accounts that break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about these terms or Animal Brawl will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Before going to court, please email hello@animalbrawl.com so we can try to sort it out informally.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell signed-in users about significant changes. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
